We're officially opening pre-orders for the long-awaited 22RPD N52 Trumpets - a fully injection-molded intake runner system developed and tested in-house to unlock maximum performance gains for the N52 platform. This is the most complete and refined intake solution ever offered for this engine - designed to support both OEM+ builds and wild custom setups.

Trumpets Only - $799
- Complete injection-molded trumpet stack system
- Designed to work with OEM-style lids or custom top-end designs
- DXFs provided for those fabricating or printing custom lids - think dual plenum designs, supercharger wedge intakes, turbo intakes, and more
Trumpets + Lid - $999
- Full trumpet stack system
- Injection-molded lid matched to trumpet geometry
- Lid includes:
- OEM MAP sensor mount
- EVAP port
- PCV connection
- Throttle body location closely matches OEM N54 for seamless integration
Engineering Notes
All testing and development was done using an open trumpet setup to streamline iteration. The performance gains come entirely from the trumpet and runner design - the lid and throttle body are not flow restrictions in our testing.
These trumpets have been beta tested on nearly three dozen cars worldwide - across every climate, from E85 to pump gas, daily drivers to track cars. We've proven the hardware works.
- Software behavior may vary without the lid and matching throttle location
- Some stock ECUs software's - particularly in AWD or automatic transmission cars may trigger limp mode or throttle inconsistencies without the lid.
- Party mode software is still in beta - install at your own risk
- We are actively working to improve compatibility across more software's, but there are thousands of permutations
- For the most consistent, plug-and-play experience, we recommend the full system with lid
Boosted Applications Note
Preliminary FEA analysis shows these trumpets are structurally capable of handling boost, but real-world behavior will depend on heat, mounting support, and vehicle packaging.
Our goal is to test and validate boosted use cases and publish reliable pressure limits for common applications. Until then, use caution and let us know what works in your setup.
Fitment & Compatibility
- Fits all N52B30 engines, including N52K and N52N
- Also fits N51 and N53 engines (N53 must use the included lid)
- OEM B30 intake port flange - not compatible with B25 intake ports
- Fits most E9X, E8X, E6X, E89 Z4, and E70 X5 platforms
- Compatible with OEM throttle body or N54 throttle body
- Redesigned to use OEM lower gaskets and hardware
- Built with OEM-style metal inserts for safe torque-to-spec - no risk of cracking under proper install

Installation

Tuning Support
We want your setup to be properly supported.
- Free retune if:
- You purchased a tune between 1/1/25 and 6/23/25, and
- You're upgrading to the matching intake type (i.e., lidded:lidded or party mode:party mode)
- Or you were part of our beta testing program
- $160 retune if:
- Your tune was purchased 6-12 months ago, and
- You're upgrading to the matching intake type
- Additional charges may apply if:
- You're switching between intake styles (lidded to party mode)
- You're setting up a custom configuration
- Tunes older than 12 months will require a new tune
